CYDC ATR was the best time ever!!!
The three days brought together teammates and friends for training, learning, bonding and fun.
I've never felt so connected to City Year until now. The cross the line activity reminded us all to suspend judgment. That we don't know everything about anyone and that one incident doesn't make or break a person. We're all in City Year for a reason and in one way or another City Year will shape us all. Get out and talk to someone new, you may find a friend for life.
I learned the value of silence and how much it can really say. When City Year appreciated everyone with written letters and also with silent acknowledgment it was just the best most warm feeling. It means the world to me to know that I am truly a valued corps member and teammate and friend to at least one person.
Ferebee Hope wins the PT competition!!! It was a great feeling. I finally felt a real connection to my team. Working so well together and succeeding big time made me realize how important we all are and how we each play a role in our greatest achievements. I LOVE YOU FEREBEE HOPE!!!!!
The snowball fight was just epic. It was amazing to just play and have fun!!! Best snow for snowballs anyway...
I am happy to have experienced something great! I am appreciative to my team. This experience ranks number one for my year so far!!! I can't wait to see what happens next!!
