It was a great year and I'm sad to see it go.

I've been home for a week and it's been a great week. Work starts on Monday and I cannot CANNOT wait to see my students. It surprises me but they are the only thing I can talk about. Their Hanukkah/Holiday cards made me so happy. Among some of the best comments, "your my best friend ever" "thank you miss melissa for reading with me" "you read recess queen the best of anyone" "thanks for making me browines" " thank you for teaching me Hanukkah". I was so happy and glad and I can't wait to look back next year and reread these wonderful little reminders of how little things can make a huge difference.
I'll miss seeing family and friends but I'm ready for new and exciting endeavors in 2011. UCONN SOOOON!!!!
