On the day where there is nothing to do I want to go to the zoo... most recently I viewed the "Zoo Lights". That night was filled with awesome fun starting at California Tortilla and then continuing to the bus stop where we were crazy. It was quite hilarious. Exhibit A:
Anyway that night was amazing...
I don't know what it is about the Zoo. It's just the best. One time I pretended to get lost (there's only one way out of the zoo) just so I could run and take pictures.
I had the pleasure of taking my students to the zoo a few weeks ago. Their smiling faces made me so happy. Watching them run up the Elephant Trail to go see all the other animals was picture perfect. They enjoyed the Panda Bears and the Cheetas. They surprised me with their intelligent questions and pondering minds. My students who love animals smiled the entire day. It was bliss.
